Farmer Dies in Tragic Tractor Accident in Ayutthaya

On August 1, 2026, local authorities in Bang Ban district, Ayutthaya province, responded to a fatal accident involving a farm tractor. According to Khaosod Online, police were notified at approximately 2:00 PM that a tractor had overturned into an irrigation canal located in Moo 1, Tambon Kop Chao.

Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered the tractor submerged and overturned with its wheels facing upward. The body of the 61-year-old driver, identified as Mr. Samran, was found trapped beneath the vehicle. Despite efforts by relatives who attempted to assist upon discovering the scene, the victim could not be saved. A crane was required to lift the tractor from the water to recover the body.

Neighbors reported that the victim typically drove his tractor to his fields in the morning and returned home for lunch daily. When he failed to return as expected, his wife went to search for him, leading to the discovery of the accident.
