Two Suspects Released in Russian Siblings Disappearance Case

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, police in the Huai Yai sub-district of Bang Lamung, Chonburi, have released two men, identified as Mr. Hoy and Mr. Phang, following a half-day interrogation. The two had been detained as suspects regarding the disappearance of two Russian siblings in the area.

Authorities had initially brought the men in for questioning based on evidence suggesting they may have been involved in concealing a motorcycle belonging to the missing individuals. Furthermore, investigators were looking into allegations that the pair assisted two other primary suspects, identified as Mr. Pong and Mr. Thong, in fleeing the area during a police operation. However, as of the evening of July 30, 2026, investigators at the Huai Yai Police Station released both men without filing any formal charges, clarifying that they were summoned primarily to provide testimony as witnesses.
