Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Koh Larn Windmill Viewpoint

On August 6, 2026, a tragic motorcycle accident occurred at the Windmill Viewpoint on Koh Larn, located in Pattaya, Chonburi province. According to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand, a Chinese national identified as 51-year-old Wan Xuechun lost control of his Honda Click 125 motorcycle while navigating the road near the viewpoint. The vehicle veered off the path and fell down a steep cliff.

Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation arrived at the scene to find the motorcycle at the base of the cliff. Mr. Wan was pronounced dead at the scene, while his daughter, who was also on the motorcycle, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are currently awaiting contact from the family to arrange for the repatriation of the deceased for religious rites.
