Thai Police Launch 'Cyber Teacher' Initiative to Combat Online Crime

On August 3, 2026, Police Lieutenant General Trairong Phiwpan, Deputy Inspector General of the Royal Thai Police, conducted a special lecture for the second cohort of the 'Cyber Teacher' program at the Provincial Police Region 8 Training Center in Surat Thani. This initiative aims to equip 242 police officers from across the region with the skills to act as 'Cyber Teachers,' with each participant tasked with disseminating 'cyber vaccine' knowledge to at least 100 families in their respective jurisdictions.
