Qantas Sets New World Record for Longest Commercial Flight

On August 2, 2026, a specially configured Airbus A350-1000ULR completed a non-stop test flight from Melbourne, Australia, to Toulouse, France. The aircraft covered a distance of 23,075 kilometers over a duration of 24 hours and 24 minutes.

This flight officially surpasses the previous long-distance record held since 2005, when a Boeing 777-200LR flew from Hong Kong to London in 22 hours and 42 minutes.
