European Travel Demand Boosts Direct Flights to Thailand

According to a report by Prachachat Business, the long-haul tourism market is experiencing significant activity. Major European airlines have temporarily suspended flights to the Middle East for a three-month period, a shift that has redirected travel demand toward direct routes to Thailand.

Thai Airways’ Bangkok-Amsterdam route has reportedly seen better-than-expected passenger numbers as a result of this trend. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has highlighted that demand from both European and American markets remains robust. Projections for the current year suggest that visitor numbers from these regions could reach 10.4 million.
