Foxconn Executive Predicts Level 4 Autonomous Vehicles by 2040

According to a report by Prachachat Business citing an interview with Nikkei Asia, Jun Seki, the Chief Strategy Officer for Electric Vehicles at the Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn, has shared insights regarding the future of autonomous transportation. Seki indicated that Level 4 autonomous driving technology, which allows a vehicle to handle all aspects of driving without human intervention under specific conditions, is expected to become a standard feature by the year 2040.

For residents and travelers in Thailand, this projection highlights the potential long-term evolution of the local transportation landscape.
