SWU Official Questioned Over Local Government Exam Corruption Allegations

On July 31, 2026, Ruangdej Sirikit, Director of the Office of Educational and Psychological Test Services at Srinakharinwirot University (SWU), appeared before the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) in Bangkok. Along with four other individuals associated with a residence in Nonthaburi, he underwent over six hours of questioning regarding an ongoing investigation into corruption within local government civil service examinations.

According to reports from Khaosod Online, investigators focused on the handling of a flash drive delivered to a previously arrested suspect known as 'Win.' Sources indicate that while Ruangdej admitted to delivering the device, he denied any involvement in corruption. He maintained that his actions were performed strictly in accordance with his professional duties and the Terms of Reference (TOR) under the direction of Theerut, the former Director-General of the Department of Local Administration.
