Police Launch Manhunt for Two Suspects in Russian Siblings Disappearance Case

According to a report by Khaosod Online, police in Sa Kaeo province and surrounding areas have intensified efforts to locate two suspects, identified as 'Pong' and 'Thong,' who are linked to the disappearance of Russian siblings in the Huai Yai area of Chonburi province.

On July 31, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the suspects reportedly evaded a police checkpoint in Chanthaburi province on a motorcycle. Authorities believe the individuals are attempting to travel toward the northeastern region of Thailand, potentially aiming to cross the border into Laos to flee the country. In response, the Royal Thai Police have issued an urgent directive to stations along the suspected route to establish roadblocks and increase surveillance. Local police, in coordination with military personnel, administrative officials, and community leaders, are conducting search operations in high-risk areas.
