Authorities Deploy Drones to Investigate Pollution at Bueng Si Fai

According to a report by Matichon Online on July 31, 2026, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Chalermchai Sri-on, has expressed concern regarding the current water quality at Bueng Si Fai, a significant wetland and recreational area in Phichit Province. In response to environmental concerns, the Minister has directed the Pollution Control Department (PCD) to utilize drone technology to conduct aerial surveillance of the area.

The primary objective of this mission is to pinpoint the specific sources of pollution contaminating the lake. By identifying these origins, authorities aim to implement more effective restoration measures to improve the water quality.
